With a service-oriented mindset and a love of real estate, Tim Lundgren has taken the Twin Cities area of Minnesota by storm. He started his professional career in food service, but soon was looking for something more. “I ran into a family friend who went from working in the grocery business to real estate, so I took his advice and made the transition.” Tim explains. That was 20 years ago, and Tim hasn’t regretted his decision for a moment. Today he has his own team, The Lundgren Group at LaBelle Real Estate Group in Oakdale which includes an office administrator and two other real estate agents. The vast majority of their business consists of repeat clients and referrals, a testament to Tim’s superior service.
“My biggest focus is just being a good resource for people. I’m always available for my clients!” Tim says. “The thing that keeps my clients coming back is that they trust the values and appreciate my work ethic, great customer service and support from my team. Tim guides his buyers and sellers throughout the transaction, never leaving any question unanswered. He also educates them so they know what to expect. When it comes to marketing, he continues to go above and beyond, promoting his listings on various websites and social media. “I also promote it within the sphere of agents I know.” he says. Whether he’s working with buyers or sellers, clients can trust he is doing everything possible to help them reach their goals.
After the transaction, his clients love to spread the word about his work. Tim’s team helps him with a couple of niche areas of his business. One of his largest focus is working with the Baby Boomer generation. He titles that area the “Senior Solution”. He works strongly with Colleen Ketcham, one of his team members, in this category. They collaborate with other professionals to assist with their clients transitional needs. From guiding them in having conversations with their families to coordinating how their estate plan will layout to selling their home.
Another niche that Tim works strongly at is development and new construction. He has started another division called “Red Stag Properties”, with his other team member, Gregg Williams. This area of service also overlaps with the Senior Solutions aspect. The focus is to build simple one level living to create longevity in the home.
When Tim isn’t working, he’s staying active in the community. He loves his church and will often attend local missions as well as serving abroad. He’s also involved with his children’s school and their activities. During any free time, he can be found camping or relaxing with his family.
As Tim looks ahead, he is eager to invest more into real estate, as he currently owns a self-storage business that services over 110,000 square feet of rentable space. He also wants to see his team grow to five or six agents. No matter what, he will enjoy every minute of his work, as he can’t imagine doing anything else. “I just love meeting people and hearing their stories. It’s exciting to be a part of their journey.”
