Real estate runs in Michael Gross’s family. “My father was a Realtor and I grew up hearing about it,” Michael says. “I was on an academic track and started working in the industry between college and graduate school. It was a way I could connect with my dad.” Michael pursued a graduate degree at Princeton and sold real estate with his dad during the summer breaks. He fell in love with the work, and since then he has built a stellar reputation and a thriving business.

Now in his twentieth year, Michael is an Associate Broker at RE/MAX Results in Edina, Minnesota. Committed to his professional growth and to his clients’ well-being, Michael has earned numerous accolades within RE/MAX. A four-time Platinum Award winner and most recently a member of the Chairman’s Club, Michael works tirelessly for his clients, delivering top-notch customer service with a personalized approach.

Michael is proud that the majority of his business stems from repeat clients and referrals. “I’m thrilled when clients recommend me to their friends and family,” Michael says. “My favorite part of my job is becoming involved in people’s lives, walking with them a short distance along their journey, and helping them make a big, life-impacting decision. Then I become a negotiator, which in this current market involves crafting thoughtful and strategic offers. After the deal closes successfully, I love staying in touch. By then end of the process, my clients feel more like friends than clients.”

Michael’s relational approach sets him apart, along with his commitment, his knowledge, and his work ethic. “I have experience. I know the market. I know how to advise people well. But trustworthiness is just as important as expertise. A real estate transaction is the most financially consequential move people make, and they want to work with someone they trust. I work hard to establish trust so clients know I’m not just out to get a sale. Really, my goal is to make sure they’re so happy with my service they tell all their friends about me. To market his listings, Michael develops a comprehensive and modern strategy. With virtual 3D tours, drone videos, beautiful professional photography, and thoughtful staging, Michael understands the importance of presenting every home in its best light. “The technological aspect is very important these days,” Michael says. “More and more people are buying houses based exclusively on what they see online. I make sure our online presence is as polished and high-quality as possible so we can create intrigue, drive up showing activity, and get the highest possible price.”

Michael and his family just moved to Edina, and they are looking forward to becoming more active and involved with their new local community. A dedicated family man, Michael loves to spend time with his wife, two-year-old son, and nine-month-old daughter. In his free time, he is an avid runner, hiker, foodie, and musician.

Michael is excited about the future and what it holds. “It’s been so amazing to see my list of clients grow over the years,” he says. “I helped a client propose to his girlfriend, I officiated a wedding for some clients, and most recently some other clients asked me to orchestrate the gender reveal for their baby. It is such a joy to become involved in people’s lives. And getting to see my clients’ families grow and develop is so rewarding. These connections are what I look forward to the most.”
