“I’ll do whatever I can to take care of someone. They’re always number one,” Brenda “The Lenda” Dintino-Duran explains, as she discusses her career in the mortgage industry. People-oriented, service driven and determined, it is no wonder Brenda has been in the business for 36 years. She got her start in Colorado, after a temp agency told her about an opening in a mortgage office. She did backside servicing for the first 15 years, and then began doing upfront originating. From the moment she started, she found it intriguing and exciting. Brenda has worked with various companies over the years, and today is with New American Funding in Tustin. What sets her apart in this industry is her commitment to do whatever it takes to get a client approved. “I like to take the time and do the credit fixes and things like that. I certainly don’t turn anyone away that wants to buy a house,” she explains. Whether that means waiting until their credit improves and encouraging them to buy later, or telling them what they need to do to get approved as soon as possible, she is always honest and upfront. “I tell the truth, I don’t like to beat around the bush. I always let them know whether it’s good news or bad news.” If anything bad ever comes up, she makes sure to get a hold of the client immediately. “Communication is always open.”

That communication stays open even after the transaction is over. She stays in touch with them, and is always happy to be their loan officer again when it’s time to buy another home. “We make people happy and get them into homes, that’s the ultimate goal.” After her clients work with her, they leave her glowing testimonials, raving about her professionalism and knowledge.
