After graduating from The Ohio State University in 2003 as an Economics and Consumer Affairs major, Chad immediately launched his career in the mortgage industry. After nearly two decades, he is still thrilled by the joy and value that he brings to home buyers and realtors alike.

“The part that I love most about what I do is helping people achieve the dream of homeownership,” he exudes. “Homeownership is the biggest wealth builder in this country, and it’s a big milestone achievement in any person’s life. I am honored to have the opportunity to play a part in facilitating and making that dream come true for my clients. To see the smile on the client’s face at closing, to see the excitement their kids have to move into their new home, it never gets old for me. I also get to partner with some amazing real estate agents and there is a level of teamwork that happens on every transaction between us. Chad’s willingness to go the extra mile has spurred him to build an intimate understanding of nearly every residential loan imaginable.

“I am big on constant self-improvement and adapting to the market. The market is constantly changing so, as a loan originator, if you aren’t constantly seeking to educate yourself on the guidelines, the products, the technology, and what is newly emerging in the market, you aren’t providing the best service for your future homeowners, your business partners, and your realtor partners. I have a keen understanding of FHA, VA, USDA, down payment assistance, non-traditional, conventional, and different variances of those loans. I don’t think there is really any type of residential loan product that I don’t have some type of experience with over almost 20 years.”

With his breadth of industry expertise and his unwavering dedication to helping others, Chad has played pivotal roles in several successful organizations throughout his career. He has been a part of launching successful mortgage companies and startups from their conception and has built teams from the ground up that he managed, composed of as many as 145 loan officers at a time. With his guidance, his team achieved over 650 million in yearly volume.

“Mentorship is incredibly important in this industry, particularly when our market is changing quickly. You have to constantly adapt to continue to thrive and achieve higher levels of success. I have had the opportunity to mentor many loan originators and have assisted them in launching successful careers. It’s exciting and fulfilling to see young people take an interest in a career in the home lending industry and experience professional life-changing success. It’s extremely fulfilling to get to play a part in helping them achieve their professional goals. I myself am always striving to learn and grow, and I have great mentors around me still today — Daniel Sa, one of the most successful originators in this nation, for instance, is currently my go-to mentor — and I like to pay it forward to newer loan officers and agents when the opportunity arises.”

Presently, as a loan originator, Chad is able to guide and support his team in Central Ohio and beyond while still experiencing the fulfillment of helping families achieve their dreams.

“I have a loan advisor position where I can work with various clients helping them purchase a home or refinance. I’ve loved getting back to working with clients directly — homeownership is the biggest wealth builder in this country, and being a part of helping people strive for that is important to me.”

His passion fuels his individual efforts, which culminate in achieving a high monthly volume; more importantly, it serves as the bedrock for a business that is 100% referral-based.

When he’s not assisting his business partners, guiding his clients, or helping his professional colleagues grow, he revels in sharing his passion for soccer and sports with his two daughters.

“I got involved with coaching club soccer about six years ago as a way to bond with my daughters — I used to be an avid soccer player myself — and both of my daughters play on my club teams in Central Ohio. We have really bonded as a team, both the kids and parents. We call it our ‘soccer family,’ because we spend so much time traveling with them and supporting each other on and off the field. It’s a lot of fun and a great way for me to spend quality time with my kids.”

Chad’s support extends to greater Columbus as well. He is involved in several local charities, particularly the Pelotonia Race for the Cure for cancer, and he is excited to grow his business alongside his family and community.
