After earning a degree in finance from Oklahoma State University, Morgan enjoyed a successful stretch in banking before transitioning to the mortgage industry, cutting his teeth as a Wholesale Lender and Account Executive at Greenpoint Mortgage in Denver. After five years with Wells Fargo, Morgan struck out on his own, guided by a client-centered and ethically driven approach to lending.

Now, Morgan serves clients across the state of Colorado, in particular the Denver area as well as the mountainous regions in and around his current hometown of Buena Vista. In addition, Morgan is one of few lenders licensed to offer Section 184, a program geared towards helping Native Americans become homeowners.

With his banking and finance background, Morgan is particularly well versed in guiding clients through the math inherent in homeownership. “I do more than just tell my clients which direction to go in,” Morgan recounts. “I help each client make sense of the numbers and their options, providing the professional advice needed to make the best decision for them personally. The math doesn’t lie.” To Morgan, helping others achieve financial freedom through homeownership is what his mission boils down to. “Homeownership can be one of the best ways for people to achieve some financial peace of mind,” Morgan says. “You get the tax benefits, the equity—in some cases you’re building towards retirement. It can be an opportunity for people to really earn some financial peace of mind.”

Considering his personable approach to his business, it’s no surprise that Morgan is also an active member of his community. He serves on the board of St. Jude’s Annual Culinary Festival fundraising event, and participates in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night events. He also serves as a member of the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Business Resource Alliance Group, creating an extensive, cross-industry resource for likeminded professionals and clients. Of course, like a true Colorodoan, Morgan often spends his spare time enjoying the great outdoors—hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and playing soccer.
