A love of building began at an early age for Lisa. At a time when most kids are thinking about anything but solid foundations, she immersed herself in what would become her life-long passions. “I’ve always loved floor plans. When I was younger, I used to sit on the couch with the television on, thumbing through the pages of multiple listing service (MLS) books. They were as big as phone books, and I just sat there looking at all the houses.”

Being attentive to clients’ needs is also a skill that Lisa remembers developing at an early age. “My father was a Realtor®. I used to love going to model homes with him. He really taught me that the customer always comes first. Though things are different today, the attitude is the same. I always strive to have a servant’s heart and a servant’s attitude when helping clients.”

This mindset of service is what propels Lisa to give her very best in all aspects of her business. “I love helping people find a home. It’s what I love most about this business—helping to make people’s dreams a reality. Everyone’s home is their safe haven. I think it’s great to be able to help someone find that.”

Focusing primarily on new construction and development, Lisa also works with buyers and sellers. She loves her role as a listing agent and enjoys completing the task at hand. “I listen to my clients, even to those things they might not state explicitly. I consider myself a good problem solver—my goal is to ensure that all aspects of a project work well together. I think this helpfulness and professionalism is what clients’ remember most.”

Fostering a helpful environment is a recurring theme in Lisa’s life, making its way even into her community involvement and extracurricular service endeavors. She’s the immediate past president of the Williamson County Association of Realtors and has been involved with the association since 1996. “We have a responsibility to get involved,” says Lisa, “and to help make positive changes for our industry.”

Lisa also works with a dog rescue, called Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue. The rescue takes elderly animals and those with health conditions and gives them a good life. “I love helping animals and fostering them when I can. It is such a rewarding feeling to help a dog find its forever home. You learn so much from animals that you’re able to use in your everyday life.”

Lisa admits that living in Williamson County is like living in a postcard town. “I tell every client who wants to move here that it’s beautiful. It’s the greatest place to live and work—I honestly believe that!”
