Success isn’t really success until you love what you’re doing. Just ask Salah Salah. “I was an area sales and a training manager for an advertising company—I was doing very well there, growing rapidly. But I felt like there was a better path for me. I’m all about relationships, and I’d always been interested in the real estate industry, in part because I genuinely love helping people. I truly felt I could make a positive impact in people’s lives.”
He took the plunge, voluntarily walking away from his career and getting his Real Estate license. After five years serving clients in California’s San Francisco Bay Area & Central Valley, that decision appears to have been well validated. Last year Salah closed 29 transactions for nearly $20 million, with an enviable 70 percent of that business the result of referrals. He’s on pace to double that production in 2021.
A little bit about Salah…. Salah is an accomplished CA Real Estate agent who brings a strategic yet personable approach to the home buying and home selling process. Salah has built a reputation for his refreshingly friendly customer care and proven ability to guide buyers to obtain the best value for their dream home and to assist sellers to a smooth, stress-free sale of their home. A Bay Area native born and raised in Fremont, CA, Salah has extensive knowledge of the different cities and neighborhoods all across the Bay Area & Central Valley. Now living in Mountain House for the past 7 years has opened up further knowledge & made him a listing specialist and Top Producing agent in Mountain House & surrounding areas. Salah was the #1 agent in volume at his brokerage in 2020 out of 3 offices and over 100 agents. Year to date, Salah is continuing 2021 with his success as the #1 agent in volume and transactions. As an experienced agent, Salah understands that buying and selling is one of the most significant decisions in a client’s life and views representation and guidance of his clients through this process as a true privilege.
Salah credits much of that success to the relationship he builds with his clients. “When I hand you the keys at the end of a transaction, that’s actually when everything starts. It’s about service beyond the sale. Helping people is my favorite part of what I do, and I see that as a lifelong commitment to the client.”
That commitment begins with educating the client about the process involved with buying or selling a home. Communication, customer service, building relationships and integrity are just some of the traits that are at the foundation of Salah’s business. Salah dedicates a lot of energy to helping people understand the industry, from writing articles about various real estate topics for his local newspaper to asking his buyers many questions to help them determine what kind of house they need. “I’m their guide. I bring my knowledge of the industry and the local market, get to know them and their needs, and then give them honest advice regarding the decisions they are going to make. I look out for them as if I was making the decision for me and my family.”
For his sellers, Salah gives a lot of attention to staging their homes to attract maximum interest from buyers. He utilizes professional photography, videography, and drone shots to create an attractive listing that is then marketed everywhere from the local MLS to all of the social media platforms and hundreds of dedicated real estate websites.
When he’s not working, Salah volunteers in his community, coaching baseball and flag football. He’s also active with local fundraising events. In his leisure, he enjoys playing sports himself or spending time with his family and traveling. Salah is a Multi-Year member of the Masters Club as well as a member of CAR, NAR, LAR and CVAR.
As for the future of his business, Salah eventually wants to build a team, but he wants to do it responsibly. “The next step for me will certainly be to bring on a couple of buyer’s agents. But I want to be sure that I have enough volume so that they can make an amazing living. That’s important to me. You have to care about everyone, not just the clients. It’s the advice I’d give to any agent. It’s not you against them. It’s a team effort regardless of which brokerage or company you work for. Always be honest and kind to everyone in the industry—other agents, appraisers, contractors, lenders—and your business will flourish.”
