Blaine is also committed to working for the betterment of his community, and to that end he formed his own charity, which provides support to local charitable causes. His focus is making sure monies go directly to the cause he is currently supporting, and he loves to keep his focus right in his back yard, i.e. his community. His current charitable endeavor is his support of a local young man who is battling Batten’s disease, so any money he is donating or time volunteered has gone to help Chase the Cure. “This one just touches me and is close to home,” he says, “and we need to get more people on board to help support it.”
