TOP REAL ESTATE AGENT IN LOS ANGELES MARC HERNANDEZ
Throughout his life, Marc Hernandez has always possessed an energetic and entrepreneurial spirit. He got his start in real estate fresh out of the University of Southern California when he accepted a position with a commercial brokerage selling and leasing high rise office buildings in Orange County. From there, he would go on to manage the international luxury retail destination, South Coast Plaza, before relocating to Beverly Hills to launch a successful career in the entertainment industry, reinventing himself and starting in the famed mailroom at United Talent Agency.
Post UTA, Marc launched his own literary management company, Crescendo Entertainment Group, and later pivoted into the then nascent digital entertainment business, as National Sales Director for Fox Television Networks and American Idol. Over time, though, he was still drawn back to his passion for real estate, renewed his real estate license and hung it at Douglas Elliman, as a Luxury Real Estate Agent, where he had multiple appearances on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.”
Today, Marc leads The Marc Hernandez Group, powered by Compass Real Estate, in Beverly Hills, where he serves clients throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. Combining his breadth of experience with his elite business acumen, he possesses the insight, integrity, and tireless work ethic needed to meet the demands of any real estate transaction.
When listing a property, Marc leverages his background in entertainment content marketing and digital advertising to “find the story” and then develop an innovative digital marketing plan to maximize awareness and engagement. This begins with creative staging, luxury real estate photography, evocative copywriting, Compass Private Exclusive, professional video marketing, national exposure across the Compass 25,000 agent network, email marketing, digital and social media ad campaigns, and print media.
Moreover, Marc believes in personalizing his marketing strategy to the needs of each property, elevating his open house showings into memorable occasions through unique additions, such as hired musical guests. “Regardless of the client, I believe in delivering the same level of service—no matter what,” he says. “Whether we’re promoting an $800,000 condo or a $5 million home, our efforts and tactics are the same…we go all out.”
Elsewhere, Marc is just as thorough when assisting his buyers, drawing from his acute knowledge of the Los Angeles area to uncover the right investment for their best interests. Over the years, he has earned a remarkable reputation as a “champion of the buyer” with his proven process of winning multiple offers. “We continue to maintain our 95% win percentage on multiple offers and have beaten out as many as 23 other buyers and their agents. As we tell our clients, ‘Good process yields good results.’”
Outside his career, Marc serves on the board of directors at The Gentle Barn, an animal sanctuary that rescues and rehabilitates abused farm animals. Additionally, he serves on the board of Write Girl, a non-profit organization that offers creative writing mentorship to at-risk teen girls. But he is just as devoted to his industry, having recently become a Tom Ferry real estate coach where he coaches and mentors real estate agents from all over the country. When he’s not with clients or giving back, he enjoys spending quality time at his home in the Hollywood Hills with his wife, Esther, and son, Lennon, a burgeoning rock musician.
As his volume continues its steady growth, Marc intends on adding new members to his team, with plans to establish a commercial division in the near future. In the meantime, though, he is excited for the new clients and opportunities that await. “This business is more about people than it is about houses,” he says. “To excel, you must be empathetic and able to marshall all of your resources at your disposal to develop solutions for your clients.”
