Jennifer’s career in real estate began three years ago, as an adventure that grew from the great adventure of many people’s lives: marriage. Today, Jennifer is a broker, owner, and active real estate agent with Listing Leaders Select, LLC in Valparaiso, Indiana, where she leads a team of thirty agents to serve Porter County and the Northwest Indiana area. “I love that my phone keeps ringing,” Jennifer says of her substantial repeat and referral derived business. “I have a stress-free process.” She explains, “I try to make it not an emotional roller coaster for them and keep everything stress free by being very communicative about next steps and what to expect. That way we’re able to easily get to the closing table with minimal stress that can come with buying or selling real estate.”

In a market saturated with real estate agents, Jennifer’s client-base return to work with her and refer her to family and friends after experiencing the success that her competitive edge brings to their transactions. “A little competitiveness, especially in today’s market, really goes a long way with people,” Jennifer says. “I’m not afraid to push them a little if needed in order to get them the house they want, and I think they appreciate that.”

When it comes to marketing, Jennifer utilizes a variety of methods to reach the right buyer. Posts across a wide range of social media platforms put Jennifer’s listings right at a buyer’s fingertips. She and the agents at her brokerage engage a robust digital marketing rollout for each listing, cross sharing each other’s social media posts to alert their clients and followers to new available properties and open house dates. Through the relationships she has built within the industry, Jennifer also reaches out to contacts among other real estate agents, sharing listings among her sphere of influence before they hit the open market.

When she’s not working to help her clients find their dream home, Jennifer is always up for the next adventure, traveling with her family often, boating, hiking, and staying active. Looking to the future, Jennifer is laying the groundwork for her brokerage to expand in a big way. Through their newly opened real estate school, Listing Leaders Select, LLC could see the ranks of the team double within the next year or two. Jennifer sees the impressive growth of her brokerage as an opportunity to cede some of her transactions to other agents on her team, shifting her role from one in the field to one of guiding the agents under her tutelage, building her brand and empowering her team to a level of excellence that will leave a lasting legacy.
