It was 2013 when top real estate agent in Georgia Mandy Green decided to pull the trigger on the career she always knew she wanted. Having recently gone through a divorce after being a stay-at-home-mom for 8 years, Mandy knew it was her time to shine and to set a strong example for her two sons along the way.

She’d gotten her first taste of real estate at the age of 18, when she worked in an office leasing apartments for several years. She loved the work but, any plans to further her career were put on the back burner once she got married and started her family. However, when she was finally ready to get back into the business, it wasn’t long before she was on the fast track to the top. After just two years, Mandy has taken the real estate industry by storm.

Now an agent at Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners, Mandy has seen her hard work and dedication pay off, but it was a bit of a struggle in the beginning. “The first year was great but very stressful at the same time. There were days I would start working at 6am and not stop until 2am.” Mandy recalls. But, clearly it didn’t take long for her to get into the swing of things. In 2014 Mandy qualified for the Million Dollar Club and has been named one of the Top 10 Agents in her office multiple times in the last year. “I’m always so surprised to see my name and sales for the month on the board when I go into the office!”

Mandy’s not thinking about the money or the commission checks – she doesn’t really have time to think about that. She’s more concerned with the quality of service she can give to her clients. She isn’t above getting her hands dirty if it means getting the best results for her client – she’s been known to personally take care of yard work or extra cleaning to get a property in tip top shape. “When you focus on the income, it can cloud the way you represent a client. I truly want what’s best for them. I take their best interests to heart.”

That’s definitely something her clients appreciate and most likely what keeps her business growing at a steady pace. Even her colleagues are amazed at how quickly she’s done so well. Mandy recalls the time a broker in her office asked, “What are you doing to get all these clients?” She laughs, remembering she couldn’t give an answer – she was just busy trying to keep up with her referrals and current clients.

Top real estate agent in Georgia Mandy Green credits that success to taking plenty of time to form a bond and build trust with her clients, always giving positive reassurance. “I tell them that when it’s meant to be, it will be. The right house or the right buyer will come along when it’s time. I’m patient and I just try to make them happy.”

Finding the right balance between family and work can be difficult, but Mandy’s been able to do it thanks to the flexibility her job has afforded her. “Knowing I’m fully responsible for how successful my business can be is very rewarding, but knowing I can make my own schedule and take time off when I need it is, too,” says Mandy. During that time off she enjoys working in her yard, shopping, trying fun, new restaurants and most of all, spending time with her sons, Chase, 9, and Landon, 6.

As for the future, Mandy would someday like to get her hands into the commercial aspect of real estate but until that day comes, she’ll continue to grow her business and see what comes next. As Mandy often says, “The sky is the limit!”
