Chad strives to make his clients happy, and believes that the best compliment they can pay him is to leave a review of his services after closing. “I was part of development project in the British Virgin Island for three years and received a nice email and call from Sir Richard Branson after deciding to come back to the states, and in the message he said “This is a sad day from the BVI’s. I knew since you were behind this project it would be successful.”
Chad is also heavily involved in Developer land sales, new build inventory and resale properties at Talking Rock Ranch. A significant factor in Chad’s success story is his aforementioned ability to think outside the box when necessary, a hallmark of his career since he became licensed nearly a quarter of a century ago. “I was an early adopter of internet technology in the industry,” says Chad, “and I had one of the very first real estate websites in Arizona.” This creative thinking also allowed Chad to thrive even during the economic downturn that brought other agents to their professional knees.
Chad is also an expert negotiator and communicator, both of which have endeared him to his many buyers and sellers. Additionally, his marketing strategies are state-of-the art. High-quality professional photography, drone video, virtual staging and individual property websites are utilized exclusively, ensuring that each property is shown in the best light possible, and savvy use of the internet strategies and social media make certain they are seen by as many potential buyers as possible, resulting in quick sales for top dollar, not to mention happy clients.
Chad is also an ardent philanthropist, and he lends his support to multiple charitable organizations. One of his favorites is the Arizona State Fair Foundation, of which he is a board member. “I have a passion for this because I believe state fairs are one of the few things in our country that the average person can still afford,” he explains. “Also, since I’ve been so successful selling Arizona, I want to give back to Arizona.”
When he’s not working, Chad – who has mid-west roots and hails from a small town in Northern Michigan called Charlevoix – enjoys spending time with his four sons and one daughter, who range in age from 20 -29. “I raised them all here in Scottsdale,” says Chad, “and now I’m an empty nester. I enjoys being outdoors and consider myself a foodie who likes to seek out eclectic restaurants. I also have a love of music.”
