Long before becoming a full-time REALTOR®, top real estate agent in Pennsylvania Renata Mavrogiorgos developed a passion for real estate. When she moved to Maryland seven years ago, it was the perfect time to take her real estate classes again and start a new career. Since then, her business has experienced a lot of growth, particularly in the past three years after moving to Pennsylvania. She’s not only had multi-million dollar sales years in 2020, 2021, and 2022 but she’s also won the RE/MAX 100% Club Award in 2021 and 2022. Last year, Renata had her third baby and she’s starting 2023 off with the energy and motivation to help as many people in her community as she can.

Renata Mavrogiorgos works independently to serve clients throughout the Poconos, an area known for its beautiful mountains, lakes, waterparks, and hiking trails. “This area has been booming since Covid, when people fled the big cities for a more quiet pace of life,” explains Renata. With a large market for both primary and secondary properties, the Poconos is home to people in all stages of life. “It’s never just about the transaction. I want to connect with my clients and get to know their families and what they are looking for,” she says.

Instead of sending out emails, Renata believes strongly in using postcards and phone calls to keep in touch. She’s in touch with previous clients at least once a month and sends out a physical mailer every 3 months. “I want to see if people have any questions, concerns, etc.” she says. “I’m always here for them.” As a result of her personable nature, around 60-70% of Renata’s business comes from repeat and referral clients. When it comes to marketing, Renata promotes her high-end listings in Haven Magazine as well as Poconos Living and Poconos Homefinder. You’ll also find her every month in the local newspaper as well as on Instagram.

As she works with RE/MAX, Renata donates a portion of every sales commission to the Children’s Miracle Network. As her children are involved with wrestling and baseball, Renata is also a sponsor and volunteer for the Youth Association of Pocono Mountain. Supporting local businesses is very important to Renata and she shops locally whenever possible.

On average, Renata Mavrogiorgos completes around 25 transactions per year. She admits that real estate has been more than a career — it’s taught her invaluable life lessons. “Working with so many other people has made me more patient and helped me understand how to manage stress.
