John McNamara developed an interest in real estate in the early 1980s, when he served as CEO of an aviation company that distributed and financed turboprop aircraft both nationally and internationally, and was able to use helicopters and airplanes to assist a real estate sister company with numerous large scale development projects.

After a long and varied career in aviation real estate development and the software industry, he became a licensed agent and shortly thereafter received the highest awards given to top agents from two major companies. In 2018 he decided to start his own real estate company, Castlerock Int LLC. Since its creation, this year John received Homesnap’s top 1% Agent of the Year award and was named Fastest-Growing Agent, updating his earlier years’ highest awards.

John currently works with his wife, Laura, a licensed broker who handles not only sales calls but also the digital side of the business. John and Laura acknowledge the success they have achieved over the past two years is only because of their faith in God.
