Mani Raveendran, a Keller Williams Global Property Specialist, is uniquely positioned to guide his clients in the Dallas real estate market. Having lived in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, Mani developed a keen appreciation for what real estate booms can bring. It makes perfect sense for him to use his experience to help others with their real estate dreams.
He didn’t start out in the field. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in India, he came to Dallas in 1998 for his master’s in computer science and went on to earn his MBA in marketing and finance. He worked for Big Four consulting firms, where he got into areas such as consultative selling, business development and contract negotiations. After learning what it took to analyze deals and get them done, he decided to pursue real estate full time.
With his international perspective, he visited South America, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai and India and saw remarkable development over the last 15–20 years. His visits gave him an opportunity to experience growth in some of the high-impact, global real estate markets, and the constantly evolving landscape fascinated him. He began looking at real estate as an investment vehicle.
Mani is considered a subject matter expert in real estate transactions. With people relying on him to help them buy their biggest asset, he takes the responsibility seriously—it’s his passion. He believes in being innovative in an industry that many perceive to have a cookie-cutter approach and differentiates himself in a number of ways. “I’m a no-nonsense guy,” he says. “I’m ethical, always keeping my clients’ interests first. I fight for every dollar on the table.” He has a strong pre-marketing campaign for his sellers, marketing first to his group of buyers, relocation clients and international investors. Many of his homes sell even before they get to market. He also has an eye for interior design—another passion.
Mani’s business comprises sellers, buyers and investors, with approximately a 60/20/20 breakdown, respectively. His status as a Global Property Specialist gives him access to an extensive network of real estate agents worldwide. He travels internationally to meet, network and assist his investors with their global real estate portfolios. “Brazil’s inflation rate is exploding right now,” he says by way of example, “and investors are looking to move their money across borders.” Hence his recent trip. “I get to meet so many people,” he says. “It’s never monotonous.”
As one of the top producers in the Dallas marketplace, top real estate agent in Texas Mani Raveendran has received numerous awards and recognition for his early accomplishments and is now engaged in mentoring and coaching other agents. His business model includes dedicating 15 percent of his time to education, both his own and others’. He is also part of the local school district’s entrepreneurship program, which engages high school students in real-world projects. Additionally, he serves as a committee member in the local charter schools, the Collin County Association of Realtors and the North Texas Association of Commercial Realtors, and as an ambassador for the Coppell City Chamber of Commerce.
Despite his busy schedule, Mani enjoys spending time with his friends and family and participating in endurance sports; in fact, he’s aiming to complete a third triathlon in the coming months. His business goals are to continue to excel in client satisfaction and use technology to get salable outcomes. “At the end of the day,” he says, “I want to be viewed as a trusted business advisor in the marketplace.”
