Ann Morgan was in grad school when she bought her first house in 2009. “The whole process piqued my interest in real estate, but I went ahead and received my masters in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences and completed my course work for a PhD in Agricultural Communications,” she recalls. It wasn’t until she got married and had kids that she decided to pursue real estate full time. “I reached out to a friend whose mom was a broker, and she brought me onboard,” she says. That was in 2017, and the rest is history.
Ann now works as a solo agent at Dolores Lemon & Associates in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The agency covers Stillwater and the surrounding region. Ann has already reached a volume of $3.7 million with 16 sales this year and reports that most of her business is repeat and referral clientele. How has she reached such success so early in her career? “First, I am passionate about customer service. I provide the very best service to my clients, offering them the guidance and resources they need to stay well informed throughout the entire buying or selling process, from the time we meet until the keys are handed over at closing,” she explains. “Second, communication is key to any great relationship. My client’s time is important to me; therefore, they are a top priority. I am committed to delivering timely and professional responses to ensure the process is as stress-free as possible for everyone.”
It’s no wonder she receives stellar reviews. One client recently wrote: “I am so thankful for Ann. “I like to think I make real estate fun,” she exclaims. “I consider myself to be personable, someone who can relate to her clients. I especially enjoy helping them realize their dreams of home ownership. There’s nothing more satisfying.”
She is also confident in her ability to negotiate the needs and wants of her clients. “I understand the current market and am very familiar with the real estate buying and selling process,” she asserts. “I always strive to deliver excellent results.”
Ann maintains contact with past clients through a variety of methods, from phone calls, to texts, to postcards. “It’s so important to reach out and check in, just to say, ‘Hi,’” she states.
To market her listings, Ann relies on her background in marketing and advertising. “That’s really been helpful for me to get the word out,” she says. “Social media is currently the best way to put us out there in front of everyone.”
As far as giving back to the community, Ann has been involved with Leadership Stillwater and Big Brothers & Big Sisters.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with both her immediate and extended family, often traveling to Arkansas to visit her parents.
As for the future, Ann looks forward to continued growth and success. “I want to keep educating myself, earn more certifications, so I can better help myself and my clients,” she says.
