She did, and found the experience to be, in her words, “mesmerizing.” Six years later, she and her then-husband were working in the construction field, and the couple decided it would benefit them for her to have her real estate license. “That was in 1994,” says Cornelia, sounding justifiably proud of the longevity of her stellar career.
Selling a huge swath of Chicagoland, Cornelia has found impressive success since then an enviable career that now sees more than two of her business being based upon referrals on positive word of mouth, a stunning achievement that makes clear how happy she is making her clients. “It’s really about the customer service I provide,” says Cornelia, when asked how she has managed to inspire such impressive levels of trust and loyalty in those she works with. “I try to think outside the box in order to get my clients the property they want, and I absolutely never give up on them. I also work hard to educate my clients about the entire transaction process, and to set realistic expectations that I can then help them meet.”
