Tasha was at a career crossroads, when a neighbor suggested looking into a future in real estate. It turned out to be a fortuitous suggestion. Today, Tasha is going on four years in the business, heading a thriving team of nine collaborative agents that serves markets across the entire state of Colorado. Tasha’s team specializes in estate and probate transactions, partnering with attorneys to serve clients statewide.
As of last year, Tasha’s Mama Bear Team with EXIT Realty DTC derived 38% of business from referrals, and 17% from repeat clients. Tasha attributes the team’s success with repeat clients to their great customer service and expertise in estate and probate real estate.
Tasha explains, “We are all driven from a client services perspective, and communicate at a higher level with our clients throughout the transaction to make sure that they are informed every step of the way.”
Specializing in estate and probate usually means that Tasha’s clients have experienced a recent passing in their family, which, Tasha emphasizes, makes excellent client service even more essential to creating a positive experience for a someone going through a difficult time.
Tasha says, “Delivering keys and exceptional service might get a smile at the end of the day, and that’s what drives me.”
Tasha keeps in touch with past clients utilizing a variety of methods, from stop-bys to mailings, phone calls to fun activities where clients can engage with the community of buyers, sellers and agents that a successful team fosters over time.
When it comes to marketing their listings, Tasha’s team employs a wide spectrum of strategies. A new property on the market receives their every effort, from that sign in the yard to a robust online campaign that spans various social media platforms and syndicates the listing across numerous websites. ‘Just Listed’ postcards and targeted outreach to renters in the property’s area also factor into how Tasha turns For Sale to Sold quickly. It’s no wonder Tasha’s transaction volume last year reached $14 million.
As a team, Tasha’s brokerage supports Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization that constructs beds for children in need, providing mattresses, bedding and everything a child needs for a good night’s sleep. Tasha is also a passionate supporter of Kids Mobility Network, a non-profit specializing in pediatric durable medical devices like wheelchairs, walkers, and hand-bikes, for children with disabilities.
When not working, Tasha loves golfing and spending time with friends and family.
Looking to the future, Tasha is making moves to expand the team, with five potential agents in training for their licenses. The target for 2021 is to grow the team by at least seven additional members and expand their work in the Denver and the greater Colorado community.
Tasha concludes, “There is a different way to be successful, from a consumer perspective, when you’re looking at how to find a house, making the right choice, and having a successful strategy. Partnering with the right REALTOR or team is a big step in the right direction.”
