Top Agent Mandy Roth attributes her success to her close ties to her community – the small Ontario town of Ayr – and that’s certainly a significant factor. However, there are a large number of other reasons, chief among them her solid commitment to providing each and every one of her many grateful buyers and sellers with the very best in customer service. Working under the Umbrella of RE/MAX Twin City Realty, Mandy has cultivated an impressive reputation as a trusted real estate advisor.

Mandy began her journey in real estate in 2008, after lengthy experience flipping homes with her husband. “He’s a contractor,” she explains, “so we started buying homes and renovating them. My kids were older at the time, and it just made sense that I get my real estate license and start doing the purchasing and selling of our properties.” Since then, Mandy has built a successful business based on deep industry knowledge, honest, integrity and a fierce work ethic. Though she focuses primarily on the charming community of Ayr, she will travel within a 45- mile radius to assist clients.

The lion’s share of Mandy’s business is based upon repeat and referred clients, perhaps the truest testament to her face-to-face, hands-on business ethos. “I’ve lived in Ayr my whole life,” she says, “so I still go and sit at people’s kitchen tables, even though whatever needs to be done could be done electronically. It’s a more personal kind of service that some people feel they don’t get from the bigger city Realtors. Living in the same community where I sell also keeps me accountable, since I’m most likely going to run into my clients at the local grocery store, or at the soccer field or hockey rink.”

Additionally, Mandy has no issue with going above and beyond to assist her clients, and the cherished relationships she forms with them transcend the closing table. “I frequently help my clients with things that have nothing to do with real estate,” she says. “I’ve helped with getting their children into daycare, finding a local contractor who is reliable, and many other things. I love helping people who have just moved here get acclimated and integrated into the town.”

Another reason for Mandy’s continuing success story is her thorough and strategic approach to marketing her listings. High-definition photography and professional staging make certain that each property is shown in its best light, and deft utilization of the internet and social media ensure maximum exposure. Quick sales for top dollar – not to mention happy clients – are result.

When asked what she enjoys most about what she does for a living, Mandy points first to the opportunity it provides her to help people during what can be a very emotional situation for them. “You really have to get into the nitty gritty of people’s lives and their finances during a transaction,” she says, “so sometimes I almost have to be a sort of therapist for them.” She also truly appreciates the flexibility her career offers, which allows her to spend recreational time with her family.

As for the future, Mandy’s plans are fairly straightforward: to continue building her business while providing the same excellent service that has become her stock in trade.
