Amy Buynoski started out studying to go into home appraisals. Over time, though, she grew interested in the lending industry—in particular, she was inspired for the ways in which it matched her outgoing personality. After she shared this with a colleague in mortgages, he encouraged Amy to dive in and attain her license. So she did. “I wanted to be more involved with clients and help others,” she says. “Right away, I could tell that mortgages were the perfect fit.”

Currently, Amy is a Builder Service Manager for the BuyNow Team at South State Mortgage, where she supervises a powerhouse team to service clients throughout Georgia. By harnessing her twenty years of industry experience, she has cultivated an attentive workflow to suit the needs of any client. “I’m always available for our customers,” she says. “When they call us looking for help, they’re going to talk to a person who cares. Along with my team, I’m personally invested in each client’s success and will do whatever it takes to ensure a memorable experience.”

At South State Mortgage, Amy and her team offer a wide variety of borrowing options, including 100% financing for first time homebuyers, physician loans and construction affirmed financing. Above all, she is there for her clients, regardless of their financial background or the complexity of their situation. “We fight for our clients,” she says. “On tougher loans, customers need an advocate who stands up for their best interests. We fill that need.”

Elsewhere, Amy has fostered strong relationships with her extensive professional network. For her tireless effort and commitment, she has earned an outstanding reputation in Georgia, with the entirety of her volume coming from either repeat clients or referrals from her partners and borrowers. “From the beginning to the end of the process, my team and I care deeply about our clients,” she says. “We don’t treat them as transactions; instead, they become our friends.”

However, Amy sees the work as its own reward. “I love showing people that they can realize their dreams. Our work is always worth it in the end.”

Outside of her career, Amy keeps active within her community. On top of serving as a Parliamentarian for the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association and acting as part of various Realtor associations, she coaches her daughter’s junior high cheer team. When she’s not assisting clients or giving back, Amy can be found spending time in the outdoors with her beloved family.

As for the future, Amy has a straightforward plan. “We just need to keep growing,” she says. In the months ahead, she will be adding a member to her team, increasing support and building on the strong foundations established over her life in the business.

Most importantly, she will be continuing to help her clients with an unmatched blend of empathy and expertise. “We put ourselves in the customer’s position and see the transaction from their perspective. That way, we can prevent any roadblocks from getting between our goals and getting the deal done.”
